Does my banner need wind slits?
Most likely your banner will not need wind slits.
Banners can act like a sail in the wind and may possibly rip out at the corners or edges of the banner. However, if you have a strong wind, wind holes can also rip.
If you feel that your banner will be placed in a very windy location, contact our banner specialists before production of your banner. We have several options available in pre-production, such as heavier, stronger, banner material, no-rip banner fabric, reinforced nylon webbing on all sides, Extra stitched, mesh banner fabric and other reinforcement suggestions.
