Do I need to convert my fonts to outlines?

Yes, converting fonts to outlines will prevent font substitution issues.

If you are using a drawing program, such as Illustrator or CorelDraw, we request that you convert all text to curves or outlines. Even though we have hundreds of fonts, we may not have the exact named font that you are using when you created your sign.  If our computers do not have the exact same font, it will not recognize your font and substitute it with a generic font.

NOTE: before converting any text, it is advisable to save a copy of the file. Once text is converted to outlines or curves it cannot edited if you need to make changes or corrections.
