Foam Board signs (also called Poster Board Signs) are an essential tool in the trade show and marketing business. These lightweight semi-rigid signs are easy to use and store and look fabulous when displayed. Foam Board is essentially a polystyrene foam core covered on either side by black paper. This gives both sides of the material an adhesive vinyl receptive surface for applying digitally printed graphics to both sides of the substrate for creative and effective marketing. The foam board material is sturdy enough to stand up on its own and can have grommets or holes punched into the material for hanging.
Foam Board signs can be made to any size and in most instances cut to simple shapes when foam board signs are used for wall decorations. This type of signage is made for indoor use because of the nature of the material (the paper coating is not weatherproof).
