CAST METAL PLAQUES: This style of custom metal plaques is created by utilizing a 6,000 year-old casting process that produces very solid and sturdy metal plaques that stand the test of time. Cast metal plaques begin with a mold made from sand or clay, that is specifically crafted to the design of the plaque, before molten aluminum or bronze is poured into the cast and allowed to cool and solidify. Cast metal plaques offer great depth and dimension and are guaranteed for life with sizes up to 96 inches and lettering that is 1/4 inch or taller. Great for multiple castings for identical plaques. (Thin gauge metals also available for low cost options.)
ETCHED METAL PLAQUES: Creating etched metal plaques is a more cost-effective, time-efficient and Eco-friendly process that involves precision tooling. Etched metal plaques can be fashioned from bronze, brass, stainless steel and copper that can included detailed letters, logos, borders and braille. Etched metal signs can be fabricated in any size (including fractional sizes) up to 40" x 84" with lettering down to 1/4". With recessed or raised graphics, and line art and custom image options, etched metal plaques offer a high-speed machining process that affords a quicker production time with with crisp and clean detailing at a great price. (Thin gauge 1/8" metal plaques are also available for smaller signs up to 24" x 24".)
PHOTO IMAGE PLAQUES: Creating a custom plaque with a photo image is easily attained in a variety of different styles and looks. Bas relief, which is a cast metal plaque portrait option, uses a clay model that is mechanically attached to bronze or aluminum cast metal plaques. PhotoRelief fuses casting and photography creating a picture plaque that is simple yet elegant. Photo image plaques can also achieve an etched portrait on metal, have ceramic metal inserts, a giclee print or be laser engraved. The possibilities are practically endless
