Yes! With proper maintenance, our magnetic signs are made for all types of weather?
Most all magnetic signs should automatically be weather proof as they are made to used outdoors on vehicles. We use only 100% American made 30 mil. magnetic sheeting on all of our magnetic signs. This durable, yet lightweight, magnetic material is produced to be weather resistant (with a weather range from minus 15 degrees fahrenheight to 160 degrees fahrenheit) and is vehicle grade for the ultimate in high quality magnetic signs. For added weather resistance, we laminate our digitally printed magnetic signs, with a Duracoat lamination to further protect the print from the elements and fading. Adding an extra layer of protection to your magnetic sign helps ensure it's longevity in good weather or bad weather.
Some magnetic sign companies don't laminate their car signs, which could lead to premature fading, or possible damage to the magnetic signs. Unlaminated magnetic signs run the risk of being exposed to the elements and scratches and abrasions. It's always best to go with a company that laminates their magnetic signs as an extra step in weather proofing their product. Also, look for companies that print with eco-solvent ink that are highly fade resistant. After time all printed inks will begin to fade but if your sign company uses fade resistant inks your magnetic signs will outlast other signs that are printed with regular printing inks.
With proper maintenance our magnetic signs will withstand normal weather conditions for many, many years! But it is always a good practice to continually remove and replace your magnetic signs on a daily or normal basis to keep them in tip-top shape no matter what kind of weather you're particular region incurs. Removing your magnetic signs to properly clean them can also help extend the life of your magnetic sign purchase.
